To Be Read: #AsianLitBingo

By Marta - 4:23 AM

Hello, book queens, kings and non-binary royalty!
Today I bring you my TBR for #AsianLitBingo. (and yes, I do realize this is kind of late)

In case you don't know, #AsianLitBingo is a month-long reading challenge hosted by Lit CelebrAsian. You can find all the details for the challenge here but overall the idea is to read books with an Asian MC by an Asian author.
This reading challenge will run throughout the entire month of May since in the US May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

Since I have several books already on my TBR that can be used for #AsianLitBingo I thought "why not just participate?". And here we are.

Without further ado, here are the books I plan on reading!

East Asian MC: A Step From Heaven by An Na.

LGBTQIAP+ Asian MC: Ash by Malinda Lo. I've started but not finished this book so many times! Not because I wasn't enjoying it but because I just wasn't in the mood to read whenever I decided to pick it up. So let's hope this is the time I finally finish it!

SFF with Asian MC: The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi.

Graphic Novel with Asian MC: Perfect World Volume 1 by Aruga Rie. I hope manga counts!

South East Asian MC: Prom Queen Perfect by Clarisse David.

Multiracial/Multiethnic Asian MC: Always And Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han. I'm not 100% sure this book counts for this but I really hope so!

Poor or Working Class Asian MC: Noteworthy by Riley Redgate

Contemporary with Asian MC: When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon.

Translated Work by an Asian Author: Perfect World Volume 2 by Aruga Rie.

South Asian MC: Saints And Misfits by S.K. Ali

With this TBR I plan on doing a double bingo! It's a very ambitious TBR for someone who just got out of a reading slump. But we'll see if I can do it.

That is all for today. Are you also participating? If so link your TBR in the comments for me to check it out!
